    Online Workshops

    Scaling Social Innovations

    This autumn, we're organizing two online workshops to encourage the embedding of learnings and new connections among participants and establish next steps for ongoing exchange at transnational level beyond the lifetime of IBESI project. One of these workshops will be targeted at the cross-sectoral (social) innovation stakeholders who participated in the study visit, while the second workshop will be specifically targeted at the NCCSI representatives from the Baltic states, Sweden and Denmark.

    Workshop #2 | October 16th

    Partnerships for Social Innovations

    A 15-minute session with three volunteer speakers from the audience. Discussion Focus: How different public-private partnership models have been structured to foster social innovation, particularly in the Nordic-Baltic context.
    10:20 CET / 11:20 EEST
    Groups will work on one case study to produce a blueprint for the PPP that addresses short-term and long-term solutions, including a timeline for stakeholder engagement and outcomes.

    A 15-minute session with three volunteer speakers from the audience. Discussion Focus: The mechanisms of public sector support, including funding, policy incentives, and innovation ecosystems that support social enterprises.

    Groups will work on one case study to draft a roadmap for scaling the social enterprise, including policy recommendations and potential public sector funding mechanisms to support its national implementation.

Speakers from each country will provide insights into how policy development, regulatory environments, and government support are shaping the future of social innovation in their regions. From emerging legal structures to the role of public-private partnerships, we will delve into the unique approaches each country is adopting to foster social enterprises and promote sustainable development.
